Actually, Volvos are well known for extreme longevity. A car they produced holds (held) the Guinness World Record for the most miles without a rebuild on an engine in a production automobile (or something like that... I think some big diesels in big rigs can beat it, so it was probably limited to cars). It was something ludicrous like 600k+ miles.Volvo at 260k? No way gotta be a Toyota! Haha

Its a 1995 Toyota T-100.It was over a million miles. This was in the 90's. Volvo ran an ad campaign on it, and gave him a new car. The new ones are not near as good as the older models.
