+1 to that!

Oh, that's pretty sweet looking--I like the blade shape, and the clean line formed across the top looks great. If I'm looking at the right knife on his site that's a pretty big blade, how heavy is it? Also, what scale material is that?

Thank you sir, I don't have a weight on it, but if I had to venture a guess it is around 4 oz. Not too heavy at all. Here are the other specs:

Specs are:
Overall length: 7 1/8"
Closed length: 4 1/8"
Blade length, tip to handle: 3"
Blade steel: .14" CPM S35VN
Handles: Thunderstorm Kevlar
Pocket clip: custom titanium

After sharpening my PM2, I finally feel like it's mine so it's coming with me today :D

Might be a little hard to see, the blade splits thin hairs into tight curls.

CRKT Foresight: Blade Magazine 2012 Imported Knife Of The Year, and the most comfortable folder in the Powernoodle arsenal. Featuring the awesome IKBS ball bearing pivot, the blade flies out like an assisted opener. Cold-forged aluminum scales with tactile coating, and Acuto+ or AUS8 steel depending on the production run. Unique scale sculpting mirrors the fingers and provides excellent grip without jimping, and other makers could take a strong lesson on how to design a clip like this that does not interfere with the grip. The Ken Onion bloodline is readily apparent in its organic design. At $79 online, it is highly recommended for those who want a beefy, highly aesthetic 6.3 oz. flipper design without breaking the bank.

Is that Bocote on that GEC? If so, that looks pretty nice, some others I've seen don't look that nice. I'm waiting for GEC to do the 55 in Cocobolo to go with my Cocobolo 73 (top of this page).

Yup, it's Mexican Bocote. The grain certainly caught my eye so I snapped it up when I saw it! I hope GEC comes through with a #55 in Cocobolo for ya; it would look good riding shotgun to that #73 of yours!

got me the slim version of that lighter. really loved the design! I do think it is better and more 'classic' than the zippo, don't you agree? much cheaper too.

I carry a Spyderco PPT today.

Yep, too bad the factory closed last year and they're not made anymore... I gave away (in PIF thread, I think first one) my grandfather's from WWII- the type in my picture was issued to German troops IIRC and he got one in a trade. Last year I managed to get this one, and the one with wind shield- I really like the design: much neater and elegant than Zippo, and the added benefit is 'clean hands' (no contact with dirty wheel and flint changing is a pleasure).

Once, a while ago, they were dirt cheap- now I think they cost about 15 Euro, if one can find them... :(

really dig this knife! best looking CRKT I have seen thus far. How's the clip on it? looks small (thats what she said), but does it work just fine? a friend of mine loves CRKT and is about to buy one soon....might recommend this one....

It works well, and buries deep. I bent it out just a little on purpose to make it easier to get in and out of the pocket, but I do that with just about all clips. To extract the knife, I find it easier to reach into the pocket with the thumb and pull up on the flipper.

That 15 is pretty sweet too. Red bone? A single blade 15 spearpoint with red bone or Red stag would be great.
