No joke, that is a stunner. I love how the Spydie logo is still there and prominent. Man, great knife. Thanks for the pics.

Protech TR-3 Manual. This has the sharpest, most aggressive thumbstud I have ever seen. My thumb is cut up and it hurts to open the knife.

Thanks rozsagab, I appreciate the compliment :thumbup: I actually traded for it a few years back. It was described as an S60V that had (obviously) been sent to Tom for his famous regrind.

Now the mystery to me was if it one of the few very rare S60V non blems? That I do not know :o I guess in a way I hope it was a blem... Regardless, I love the knife and it is simply one of the sharpest knives I own :thumbup:

Any time you make it to the Twin Cities, just let me know! That is a sweet blur with that Krein regrind, and S60V no less... That thing could shave marble I bet.

Paul, the s60v Blur Blems were blems due to a wavy edge grind. Because yours has been redone it's impossible to tell, sweet knife man. I have one of the s60v Blur blems and can photograph the edge if you want to see what I'm talking about.

As 9blades said, it's a Big Chris custom. I had it commissioned since I was looking for a sgian dubh type knife for EDC. This one is my favourite.

I am still EDCing it and I would be carrying the ZT as well, but I tried to do what the interwebs suggested, de-assisting it, and now I lost one of the bronze bushings. FML!!

lol. I hope so. I sent them an email, so I am just waiting to hear back from them. It sucks, because I didn't like it de-assisted and the bushing just "popped" off when I took it apart to put the torsion bar back in. I can't seem to find it. It must be in the same place where my 551 Grip is. With all of the lost socks.
