EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I don't know what an original spaceman clip is, but I just ordered a Chokwe (partly due to his input and pictures) and a titanium super low key carry clip to go with it. I think it will go great on the titanium lock side, and really make it easy to carry.

Bent my natives clip back tight and sharpened it up. Feels good to carry it again.[/QUOTE]

Originalspaceman is a member here, Casey, he makes the low rise Ti clips that are sometimes called "featherlite", they have a feather printed on them and the screw holes are accessed via a hole in the bent over part clip instead of one of each side of the clip. Great dude to work with and VERY well priced. (He is a paying craftsman here).

Thanks, brother. It's Swamp Rat's Moss Green finish, which is available and is not a custom order. The scale however, is a custom order item. I will say this. I totally get it now. You see these threads in the Swamp Rat section where people post pics of several SR and other Bussekin knives. I see why they buy so many of 'em. I'm already planning my next order.

Dang! That's definitely a slick looking piece. Blade length?

Aww... That's adorable.

Here are the specs from SW's site:

Blade Length:
5-1/4"
Blade Width:
1.35"
Blade Thickness:
3/16"
Overall Length:
10-1/4"
Grind:
Saber
Steel:
SR101
Hardness:
58-60Rc

This thing feels utterly invincible. I love few things more than a good knife!

Does Paw Paw have a page? Is he a vendor here? I'm not sure which way I want to go yet, as I was perusing some of the board vendors. I originally wanted Kydex with a firesteel loop, but there are some guys doing amazing things with leather also. I'm not sure which way I'm going to jump yet.

Paw Paw goes by Invinoveritas1911 here. (http://pawpawsknifeshop.com/Home_Page.php) All the kydex benders here that I have sheaths from (Azwelke, Buy Brown, Mashed Cat, Okuden) do excellent work, I just like the unique way Paw Paw forms their sheaths..

Oh yeah, I love the look of the featherlight clips with the symbol. For some reason I thought they would not fit on the Chokwe... Something with the lock? Is that not right? I actually would have greatly preferred tip have one of his....

Anyway, still carrying my native but sanded off the clip.

Love those Hinderer scales for the 0550 (or maybe I just hate the stock scale), but I don't think I've ever seen any scale for the 0550, Hinderer or otherwise that has clip screw holes for the Gen 2 deep carry clip. Wish I could get Rick to tap them for that.

0550 today:

Agreed! Thanks for the info, brother ;)

Yessir!! Man, I had my Utilitac in my pocket this weekend while working on the car, and the clip got all scraped up when I was under the car. It looks even more awesome now.

Hell yes! You're just adding character to that bad boy :D

And I've been thinking of ways to mod it and really make it my own.

My 710 which I've had since 2000.

I've been visiting regularly but this is my first post. Great site guys! This looks to be a great community and your photography has inspired me upload a photo.
