EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Brought the 0551 (along with my wife and daughter) to the tattoo shop. Hopefully I'll get some work done tonight.

Nothing wrong with it as is, its beautiful, but it would look awesomer if those proud liners were bead blasted.

Thanks! The scales were made by a gentleman here on the forum. I carry it loose in the pocket. In winter I carry keys in my coat pocket but in summer, keys go in the pocket with my knife. That's why I usually end up carrying slipjoints or something with a backspacer at least so that the keys don't bang the cutting edge. I may have to look into a small pocket sheath for this one.

I've thought about sending it out to have the blade etched and stone washed and maybe have the liners bead blasted or anodized blue. I think that would look good with these Koa scales or the original glass fiber.

I never mind, Kirby! I'm trying to get Arnold's thumbsup from the end of Terminator 2. Ya know, when he gets lowered into the vat of molten steel. And beneath it I want the letters PMA (Positive Mental Attitude)

My pma gets me through life without being too much of an a-hole, and I always try to put a little humor in my pieces :D

Oh gosh, that's awesome dude! :thumbup: you gotta keep a positive attitude! Cause life is a series of moments, and if you spend time regretting a moment it will only perpetuate negative thoughts...you should live life in the moment it's felt! that is the most poetic thing I have ever said, corniest too haha.

Like the boots. Miss my Herman Survivors. A similar boot (not the same boot you get today by the same name at Walmart). Used them (the same pair) for 20 years, even in the Military, they said no, but I used them anyway. Got punished for out of regs a few times (hated jungle boots, ugh!) After a while, a whole group of us were wearing them. In Germany, Hermann the first is a hero and folk legend, and the Panzer Grenadiers loved us in Schleswig-Holstein because the DIs called us "Hermann's last Survivors" because we wouldn't give up our boots.
 
Yea… I like this browning more than I thought I would.

I would really like to get something from SNODY direct one day.
