Hello!

Not my pic but I'm rocking the Böker Resurrection Gen 2 today...

That looks surprisingly like a utilitac 2 (especially the blade shape and how the scales attach), is it a joe Pardue design?

Edit: nope, some guy named Jim Burke. Still think it looks a lot like the UT2.

I can see how you would feel that way. The handle especially looks similar with the position of the screws and the jimping on the lockbar. Edit: the bladeshape imo looks like a hybrid between the zt0200 and 0300.

The XM was yesterdays carry, and the VECP todays. That said I have carried both at the same time. It didn't feel excessive. :D

Three would definitely be pushing the envelope though... ;)

Awesome picture, Matt! Love that VECP.

Is the pen a Fellhoelter TiBolt?

Thanks! The VECP is a sweet knife, and yes that is a Tibolt. Use it everyday

Ok, thanks. The TiBolt is sweet, too. I could never bring myself to carry a pen of that caliber.... I'd probably lose it :o

How does the clip on it compare to clips on knives? Stupid question, it's probably the same

In terms of retention it's just fine. I keep it clipped to my left front pocket and haven't had any issues.

Like the boots. Miss my Herman Survivors. A similar boot (not the same boot you get today by the same name at Walmart). Used them (the same pair) for 20 years, even in the Military, they said no, but I used them anyway. Got punished for out of regs a few times (hated jungle boots, ugh!) After a while, a whole group of us were wearing them. In Germany, Hermann the first is a hero and folk legend, and the Panzer Grenadiers loved us in Schleswig-Holstein because the DIs called us "Hermann's last Survivors" because we wouldn't give up our boots.
Great story! These are made by Irish Setter(Redwing). So far I'm liking them. I've always worn chukkas, and these are way nicer than the Rockports I've owned through the years. I'm loving the 810, but I've found that I prefer the 710's size and feel much more. I wish that I could get a 710 with the 810's blade shape, just thinner.

Beauty meets the Beast. In the shadow of the night shines the light.

Queen winterbottom bone slimline trapper, and ZT 0350ST blem.
