What type of cord is that on the handle wrap?

No clue! The maker is Josh Mason and he's an active member here. I'm sure if you drop him a line he'll answer all of your questions.

All I know is the soak is west system epoxy.

I posted this back in February, and its become one of my favorite beater knives. When I bought it pre-owned, it opened up in the package causing my letter carrier to bleed all over my porch. So at least I know its effective against mailmen. I'm normally not a fan of the tanto profile or a partially serrated edge, but this one rocks it for me.

That is gorgeous! Where can I get one?

Richard Rogers' work is impeccable. He's well known for his traditional knives but is turning out some really interesting modern designs now. He has a website.

Here's a link to his work on this forum, the engraved, multi bladed piece on the page i copied is something else! I own the large trapper further down and it is a firm favourite!

Wow! I only looked at the picture at first, and I honesty thought it was a custom.

Carried a Case Sod Buster Jr for most of the day, but just switched to this one for the rest of the evening.

Been carrying one of the two Kizers I currently have, the Phantom Ki5401A2, or the Gingrich GTI. Both knives have carried well and have cut what little I have to cut in a days time. I constantly flip these knives and so fat they have held up awesomely. Lockup is at the same spot that it was originally, and blade play is simply not present in any form.

Pershiate it! And today is my Queen Cut.Co trapper:

Carried this today! My dream knife from Bill Akers… my Grail if you will. Love the wood combo, bolster and ultra tapered tang. Sweet and SHARP.

I just love everything about the TiBolt. It's so cool.

Nice Ti-Spine, too. What's the little friction folder?

It's Fellhoelter's Frikky. I'm on a Fellhoelter kick and need to get one of his midsize knives. Have a Frikky, ti-bolt and whistle-pop but no lock knives from him.

That Frikky does look pretty cool. I'm loving my new TiBolt as well. I wasn't a fan of the Schmidt refill. Tried a medium blue Fisher and liked it better, but decided to try a Parker today, and I think that's my favourite so far.

And Darn you and your temptations Bluesummers... Green Frikky just ordered with clip :)
