This picture really makes me want a Contego.

Do it! You will not regret it. I have two and am thinking of a third. The 810 is making me sell many of my other blades because they will see no pocket time...

I carry one of my Contego's on most days. This one has some carbon scales I got off eBay pretty cheap. I'll keep them on until I get new ones from Keyman.

I've heard people mention the jimping on the Contego being too aggressive and never gave it much thought. It looks really accentuated in this pic. Is it typically this way or is it an issue of how these scales sit?

My newest K2 (Kondel Knives) custom. ....manufactured in my shop/bedroom. This one is one heck of a beefy little slicer. Vid of it below.

Just got both of these and had to carry both. Since joining, I've had an occasion to look at the old timey slip joints forum and love the old blades, and the new remakes as well. And since my dad passed and left me my Great Uncles old Schrade 250T, I've developed a slight interest. Well, one day I was in a small antique shop in the middle of Texas and happend to buy a little Cattaraugus gentleman's knife from the early 60's. One thing lead to another and here I am. CURSE YOU BLADE FORUMS!!! Just kidding. Loving it more every day.

That's typical, but I don't find it to be bothersome at all.
