Haven't carried this one in almost a year. Weather is too hot for a vest. Perfect (California legal) open carry opportunity. This was my grandfather's combat knife. I did a complete tear down and restoration about 3 years ago.

That is a great pic brother!

Today's carry...

Thanks, Erik! Means a lot coming from you :D

And looks like you're riding the ZT train today as well. I've been drooling over pics of those 0770CFs. I wasn't aware that you had picked one up. What do you think so far??

ETA: Not sure if you can tell but the knife was resting on my pant leg. I was sitting in my car and was hoping I could snap a good shot

I've had it for less than a day so I can't say too much about it. I do like it better that the aluminum version which I owned and sold a while back. It is very light and I think the action de-assisted is better than it was with the other 770. I like the larger pivot screw and they added jimping on the flipper which was a nice touch. I am not blown away but it certainly is a nice knife and could make a great user.

Another pic to stay on topic...

Thanks for the response! Let me know how it holds up after an hour of spine whacks and batonning through 10 trees :p

I believe it's a Dalton custom.
Charlie Mike wanted an upscale version of the Gerber Applegate Fairbain folder.
(If I am remembering correctly.)

Yup. That's it.

Bruce Wayne was cool enough to let me take the Batmobile for an extended joy ride today. About 20 minutes out from the Batcave I found this - way down low between the console and the atomic batteries, where all lost knives somehow end up. Finders keepers, sucker!

That GB has really become one of your favorites, right Paul? Looks great.

Thanks John, it does occupy a lot of pocket time for so many good reason's:thumbup:

Great picture of a great knife John, is the 0561 a recent addition or have I just missed it?

Thank you, Paul! It's a somewhat recent addition that I never got around to carrying.

Although the quality of this puppy is excellent, I just sold it on the exchange. It was just a little more knife than I need at the moment, ya know?

Plus the 0551 stays in my pocket more than any other knife due to sentimental reasons (Thomas from KAI sent it to me after a lengthy phone convo--such an awesome dude), so I think I'm covered in the "hard-use" category
