Spyderco Gayle Bradley and Carbon Fiber UKPK today:

Loving them both. I had always wanted to try out a Gayle Bradley, and I finally did, I couldn't be happier. I always wanted a G-10, CF, or Ti UKPK because I just love the UKPK and always have.. Well the CF had always just hit a soft spot but never really could find one.. a guy I know had it.. so I had to trade for it.. this thing is sweet!

I've never been to a page (including stores) where I wanted every single knife I saw. You have impeccable taste.

I stopped at my grandparents' on the way home from work today and picked some of their wild mint. I had the Cold Steel Roach Belly, and the long belly is really handy for all around use. It's so light and small sized that you forget you're carrying it. Can't say how well the Krupp steel is yet though, or the partial tang, as I haven't used it for anything heavy.

The Roach Belly helped turn the mint from this:

into this:

I made a mix of the fresh mint and some roasted yerba mate and brewed up some tea. Other than that, I'm not real sure what to do with the mint powder.
