Have you seen any of Charlie Mike's videos? The chances that ANYone would see him as an easy mark worth robbing is...well, they're pretty slim.

Thank you! They are really starting to grow on me. Paul (the Man, the Legend!) sent me this Case Peanut, and I've actually gotten some comments on it already by coworkers who saw me use it for a few things. I kind have to say that I've never been AGAINST the idea of Traditionals...but as I get older, I'm really starting to appreciate the beauty of a well done slip-joint. This little Case, it's almost jewel-like in its quality.

And speaking of quality, hell, that GEC Bullnose? Get this, it's my go-to whittling, and fruit-eating knife. LOL I know, I know. But there's been evenings I'll sit out back, slicing pieces from an apple as I work on some little piece I'm dinkering around with. That O1 takes an edge and keeps it. It's actually a very hardworking knife. It has me actively my eyes open for other slipjoints that I might like. :thumbup:

Nice setup. Quick question. Does the waving of the Strider affect the blade integrity at all? Just wondering for future purchases/mods. It just looks a little, I don't know, awkward? Almost like a bayonet mounted on a gun.

Doesn't affect the integrity at all.

Just saw the video. I'm pretty sure people won't choose you for a robbing target. Still love that EDC you got there Charlie Mike. You got any more knives/watches in your collection?

I don't know if I'd say that, I'm thinking you look more like the sort of crazy biker type. The kind of guy who'd stab a guy using a spoon if it was the only thing he had available. LOL You definitely have the "DO. NOT. ^#%@. WITH. ME." look.

That Rolex is the only watch I own.
 
Well after going home for lunch, I decided to switch knives. Dumped the LionSteel Opera, now carrying my brand new orange Benchmade 585 Mini Barrage w/ D2 blade. Its actually more orange than the pictures show, had a hard time capturing the true color with the fluorescent lighting in the office. Still has oil on the blade, never been carried until today (got it Tuesday) fires fast.




Also carrying a streamlight ProTac 2L flashlight. Picture forthcoming.
