It was amazing, as usual. I think 4 Rivers has to be some sort of state treasure. Of course, now I'm fighting a need for a nap. LOL

Lol awesome. 300fps toothpick. So that's what those titanium toothpicks are for.
Edge pro is doing its job.
I'm actually carrying (changed from this morning) a Kershaw/Emerson CQC4K. My first knife with the dreaded 8cr. I actually really like the knife, considering it was only $35. I like the size more than anything. Pictures to come later. Its the brown scaled one with the black drop/spear point blade.
Please elaborate on the size being a positive. I'm thinking of picking one up for my brother's bday and could use all the feedback I can get.
I like knives in the 3" range. It is 3.25' blade. Even though I have XL hands I can still (barely) get my pinky on there (unlike my vastly more expensive Benchmade 530). The blade came very sharp, sharper than I would have expected from such an inexpensive knife. Wave feature works great, I loosened the pivot a bit as it was stiff but now it flies open. For a made in China knife with Chinese steel, it is surprisingly well made. Definitely a good deal at $35.
No worries vato. I have been meaning to email you for a while too. Good luck on that knot!Kev, you are THE MAN. All of the videos I've watched of this knot are done with the guy holding the two strands between two of his fingers, so when they do the wrap-around, it's always next to impossible for me to get it right. The knot on my Cadet Alox was essentially the first time I had tied the knot, and the last time I got it right. LOL I am going to bring some cord with me to work tomorrow and see if I can't better this time!
Also, I still owe you a phone call brother. Just been busy lately!
Nice "desk weight" you have there, Tmack!
Well thank you sir. It just came today. Was custom made for my measurements. Fits like a dream. And it's not so night and heavy you don't want to carry it .
They can be made any design, any color or combination of colors. Splash, marbled etc.
