EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Paul, that's a great looking pair. I love how you seem to always make a conscious effort to coordinate your carry combos

( If that's not a good example of alliteration, I don't know what is :D )

John, you are correct in regards to the knives matching, I checked out yesterdays carry and BINGO---green linen Micarta, I looked at my Image Shack pictures and again BINGO:o

My wife would NEVER let me live the "Matching" aspect of it down---she always says I pretty much ALWAYS wear the same thing---Navy blue T-Shirt and Jeans---a buddy of mine always gave me a bad time by saying "do you even own a shirt with a collar":D

Paul, how you liking that Streetbeat? That knife is really starting to get my attention!

And thanks for the kind words from you and John, my CRK is one of the few possessions I own that I'll never part with.

Forrest I had a plain Jane Insigno but seldom carried it---I always dug the insert ones and yours with that Carbon Fiber is amazing:thumbup:

Really liking the Street Beat---VG-10 = RAZOR SHARP and I love that---Ergo's are awesome as well. I always thought the handle looked pretty thick and in actuality it isn't at all, fits nicely for back pocket carry:thumbup:

I'm glad it made it to you my friend:thumbup:

It's inexpensive but hopefully the Sod Buster gives you a positive taste for traditionals? It's really quite a little work horse...it may act as a gateway to maybe a GEC Bull Nose which in my mind is an excellent traditional;)

It will, and I love it and thank you again, you are a good guy ! The Bullnose is actually my second on the list...The Sodbuster was my first... (You didn't read your email, didn't you ...? :) )

Nice Erik:thumbup: I agree with Forrest "Native"esque looking blade--except Larger and Classier;) Love the grinds:cool:

Thank you Paul and Forrest! I had been admiring Kelley's work for a while. I like the no frills, rough finished look to his blades and they are always priced very reasonably. I figured this one was a perfect size for pocket or neck carry and I dug the blade shape. It's not a safe queen, and the fit and finish has plenty of character ;), but it came very sharp and will make a great user.

I've been carrying small fixed blades lately, a Scrapyard Scrapivore in my pocket and a custom Folts Minimalist around my neck.

I really don't know how a folder could be much better than this. To me all improvements after this one are cosmetic. I can't say anything that has not been said about PM2, just saying that if I had to choose one thing in this knife that is most excellent that would have to be the compression lock. Still, everything in this knife is to my taste great, except the plain and dull black color. I know, I have been spoiled by the traditional knives and their choise of bone, stag, wood or whatever scales.

Just my honest and subjective opinion :)

I apologize as I must've missed your email? Could you please resend? My email can take an email that we've conversed before and drop into my "junk" folder---even though I scan those some slip by...

Thanks,
