EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Thanks Buddy:thumbup: The SAK Carver is new today but in my opinion I think it will be more of a Woods type "just in case" SAK versus my Farmer. In my Handyman jobs I find the Flat blade screw driver very useful and there isn't one on the Carver:o

But the fixed and SAK in the back pocket sheath works extremely well for me. The 110 Lumen Maratac flashlight is without a doubt the most used of almost everything I carry:thumbup: I've owned one since they came out and when they first hit they were 80 lumens which is still a bright light but the step up in lumens is nice;)

Eye sights startin to give me issues---sucks gettin old:D

Really like the patina'd CV Soddie you carry---one fantastic lil work knife and the CV gets scary sharp:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

No, thank YOU brother! That means a lot to me coming from you! I had to futz with it a little when I first got it to get it up to snuff (mainly just tweaking the handle a bit and sanding the backspring a little, contoured the handle just a bit while I was at it)....

I'm really pretty pleased with it now. Disappears in the pocket, but it's more than capable of handling anything that needs cut. I like that CV steel very much! Took on a nice looking patina and takes and holds a great edge.

And I agree with Quiet - that Lil Muk is outstanding!

Great looking group, Paul!! Definitely loving that little Muk!!

Thanks Forrest:thumbup: I've purchased two BHK off the fixed for sale forum...both from the same great forum member and I had to pm him asking what method he used in sharpening as both were two of the sharpest knives I've ever rec'd...he said they were both factory edges.

Makes you wonder how/why BHK ever went out of business:confused:

Hope your doin well in sunny Florida buddy, Smoke em if you got em;)

Most definitely!! I will have to throw up a pic of my escapades earlier :D

Also, I owe you a PM, I'll be on that shortly. As for BHK, it's my understanding that the guys running it had some sort of disagreement and decided to go their separate ways. I believe Battle Horse Knives is one and LT Wright is the other, iirc. I've seen products from both, and both are super droolworthy, that's for sure!

I'm not really known to be really much of a rocker, but can I still like the knife and some good classic tunes?

I've wanted this Buck knife for quite a while. I was given one about ten years ago and the guy took it back, I wasn't happy.

My first Ian Hall Handmade knife and my first Kirdashi! Sweet blade. I mean really sweet! Love the wood obviously... its ironwood.

Added a 2014 Case/Bose teardrop jack.

Oh good lord..... I'm sorry man. I had no idea - I just thought you were being funny, so I was trying to be funny.... My attempts at humor sometimes come at the worst times

Handle your biz man, I'm sorry

That sucks bro. Peace be with you.

Work in progress, this can and should still be made better. Still, a slightly slippery and uncomfortable large folder has turned to a much more ergonomical knife. I carry this in my bag now, but it can be carried also in the pocket. It does not have a clip, so a pocket holster that keeps the knife upright is recommended (I made one).

This has A LOT of on-a-whim features, not all them really successfull. Maybe I will make new scales. Maybe.
