Overall, I like it very much. It has elements of both the ZT 0770 and the Blur that I like. Flipper action, aluminum handles, a pleasing blade geometry, good quality steel. There really isn't anything not to like about it IMO.

That CRK looks fantastic. If I ever bought a CRK, I don't know if I would do fixed or folder first.

I will probably go with fixed to start; I just prefer fixed blades for the strength. As for the Guardian 3, Brad is offering it in FFG now, too. I do wish the one I owned had been slicier, so look at both. Either way, they are little tanks that will serve you well.

Yeah when I buy a fixed blade, I'm fully confident in its durability (as long as it's a quality piece)
With folders, I don't know why, but I check to see if my lockup moves all the time lol. I know it's a silly thing to obsess over, but I'm always concerned with longevity. I had a zt that went from 20-50% in a couple months. Probably just settling in, but I wasn't used to that happening. My only other folders are 21's and xm's and they haven't moved a mouse whisker.
That flat grind does look fantastic. Hmmmmm.

God... that DCL is great. I'm considering sending Drew a case of energy drinks; that kid needs to put out more amazing knives.

His grinds! Ugh!
I got that thing so stupidly, ridiculously, ungodly sharp. That right hand grind is nasty. And that little dcl is right there with it. His grinds, and that 3v must match my sharpening "style" perfectly, because both my dcl knives are just about the sharpest in my collection.
He does need some free time huh? School...... Pffft........ Come on. Us junkies need our fix!
