Good Afternoon,

This blade is made from 3/16" W2 Full Flat ground to 2000 grit and etched to expose the hamon. Handle is stabilized burl / composite with blue liners and micarta pins.

Edge is taken to 4000 grit on a Japanese water stone.

Sheath is leather with ambidextrous brass belt loops.

Lovely knife and the sheath is eyecatching as well. 4000 grit waterstone edge? It must slice like a light saber. Very cool.
Thank you. I have been very happy with the edge performance off of the 4000 grit stone. It produces a very fine edge.
 
Excellent work Paul! Love seeing all the new designs you've been making. All 3 of mine are still regularly used and have stayed sharp and effective
