Actually, yesterday evening but anyway...

The moose is loose...and dead.

Damn those GID scales are sweet.

Nice pic Trollbane. Gotta ask, How's Moose taste and how do you prepare it? Never had it. I heard that Moose have lots of worms and parasites. Is it pretty gamey meat? I remember my Grandfather shot a Moose out of canoe when the waves were fierce and was a good story to hear. There's a picture of the two of them together. I would have to think he ate his but not sure. He wasn't one to waste. Sweden might have healthier Moose than the ones around here.

Photos from the trip yesterday!

My carry (S&W 500 is my cousins...for now :D ):

Still need some more practice with the 1911. I do pretty well with it, but I know I can do better. Tried shooting it left-handed for the first time (I'm unwillingly ambidextrous, but orginally lefty), and it actually felt a lot better, so maybe I'll start training in that grip.

We blew quite a few holes in these targets :D

Managed to thread a 30-06 through the nozzle on this one at 150 yards. I was trying to take the nozzle off after that, but man they're tough!

All-in all, a really good day of shooting. Definitely got my deer rifle zero'd in ;) (also took down a metal stake-post that was supposed to be a joke target in one shot...no one wanted to try and make challenge shots with me after that  ) I missed the season this year though because we couldn't get the feeders ready in time :o

Oh well, I'll be ready next year.

And my Ferox did some good work too! I'm loving 4V so far.

Lol.

He said he was just imagining buying them.

"in my mind "

He's not serious.

I think it's funny he's only imagined spending that much ;)

I'm way over my yearly income looking over this thread (but I am also still buying some in my head from the last thread) :D

I'll take them all.

Someone get a calculator.

Same ol stuff gentlemen.
This ti51 has been through hell, and keeps on flipping. I'm proud of her.

5000 drops, tile, concrete, give it a quick sand, back to flipping. It'll be truly sad when I retire her.

I honestly don't want to even know how much that would be...

Would be a really cool project though if someone went through one of the old threads and managed to value out everything to see how much it was all-together. Not counting doubles by the same person of course.

A year later...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is how I'm sure that would go ;)

I know some of us post a couple grand worth of knives in just 1 post.

From $20 cheap workhorses
To $2000 customs

And the last thread was 20,000+ posts!

I need to start selling knives to you nut jobs. :D

Yes please, I wouldn't mind doing business with you at all brother ;)
I love the diversity of this thread.

Also, carry for today, same old same old for back at work:

I knew you would.;)

Hey, out of all them Bali's you got which one do you like best that's under $400 used?

Oh oh oh, I know!...wait, he doesn't have any under that... :D
I think you could orginally get a Flytanium 51 for just under $400 though. Tmack? I know you remember what they were ;)

BM 62 if you want my humble opinion ;)
BM 51 if you like something that flips eaily though. 62 is rather heavy.
