How do you like the Chaves? I have one on order.

It's a big, heavy beyotch, but it's a beautiful, smooth and well made big heavy beyotch It's not perfect (the lockbar is a little sharp and stiff, and the stop pin and lanyard pin like to rattle after awhile), but its still great. I don't expect perfection in a midtech.

Erik, I absolutely LOVE that knife. I had the chance to handle one at a local shop a few weeks ago and it feels great in the hand. I recently picked up a Kershaw Turbulence and I think it was partly because the blade shape reminds me of the PPT. It's on the way to me now. Should be here Tuesday.

Today I've got my DS Blur (de-assisted, of course) and my forum knife.

Where does one find the metal handle SAK's, I want a pioneer for my son in blue.

I've seen them in silver, black, and red. Blue ones would likely be hard to come by at online vendors unless you try Ebay.
