Welcome to the club!
The Sebenza is one of the best things I've ever purchased.
I don't even care about buying another knife now.
I think I really DID find "the one" this time. For real.
You got the same exact CRK I got!

Thanks, Erik. I do be likin' dat one. :D
I can't believe Matty beat me to getting a Sebenza.........well, yes I can. haha
Congrats from me as well, Matty!

Welcome to our ranks, brother!

Thanks guys! I appreciate it! :) I love it so much. It's definitely been a Grail since I started liking knives and I'm really enjoying carrying it and breaking it in.

Ok Erik - I've been wondering about this one^^^^…what are your impressions/recommendations?

Same here. That lock is definitely interesting. I'm assuming it works like the CRK ti lock?

Thanks guys! I am really impressed with this knife and I like it a lot. The spring bar on the top of the knife is not a locking mechanism but helps keep the knife from closing accidentally. Think of it as a detente for closing the blade rather than opening it. Mike Read designed the knife to comply with British knife laws so it cannot lock. However, if you hold the knife with your thumb resting or pressing down on the spring bar the knife becomes very difficult to close almost like a lock. I find the ergos of the knife to be top notch, which is to be expected from Spyderco. The fit and finish is also perfect. This is the second Spyderco I have owned that was made in Maniago, Italy (Pingo was the other). I think the knife is a winner in all respects. Even though I haven't had it very long I have had experience with n690 steel in the past and it is a fantastic steel in my opinion. It takes a fantastic edge and holds it well. The only negative is the polished titanium scales, they are a bit slippery and scratch easy. I may stonewash them at some point, but right now they sure are pretty! Sorry, I rambled a bit...

I don't carry anything very fancy most of the time. Usually an old remington stockman with 1095 blades, over 20 years old. It has done more work in it's life than most people I know.
Lately I have been carrying a fixed blade at work to back up the old folder. I am using a Condor Mini Bush lore since it is small enough to be acceptable at work, cheap enough I don't mind using it for rough work duty, and it has an extremely sharp blade.

These are the knives I carry the most since they go with me everyday to earn a living. My choices change if I am out of work or in the woods.
