How do you carry a hard shell wallet like that? I carry a leather wallet in my back pocket. It seems like those flip side wallets would be uncomfortable to sit on.

They're made to be carried in the front pocket or inside a jacket pocket. I also have one of their discontinued Strata wallets which much slimmer and easier to carry in the back pocket.

I hope this isn't taken the wrong way.....
Why does everybody like these so much? Are they discontinued or special edition or something?
This really is an honest question. I'm not being sarcastic or anything.

For me, I love the size of it plus I never had a clip point blade before (that I can remember) and it is discontinued. I've never had a TI frame lock before and there is something special about carrying a blade with Paul Bos' logo etched on it. Now the knife as is, for me, was not the best. I hate tip down, weak detents, teflon washers, and those little horns on the handle scales. After I "fixed" all that, it became my favorite knife. For how long, only time will tell. WALTER

Thanks for the reply!

2 main reasons:
1. Yes, they are discontinued, and were pretty limited when they were new as well.
2. They are a collaboration between Buck and Tom Mayo, a maker who has done virtually no such collaborations, and whose work goes for at least $2000 on the secondary market, making it vitrually untouchable to the majority of people.

Also, it's actually a really good Buck knife.
Thanks for the reply also! I didn't know that Tom Mayo knives were so expensive.

Had to unleash the Dragon today after seeing the scalpel failed to do the clean and swift cutting.
Made quick work out of the tubes.

These two friction folders in turns. I must say that (apart from Laquoile) I have grown to prefer these over the slip joints. They are so light and they can not snap shut.

I am taking soon a trip to Morocco and thought that the Opinel might serve as a traveling knife. If I lose it it is not such a big deal. I have used similar knife on many trips and they have served me well. This is a nr 9. I reshaped the handle slightly, made an easy opening notch, burned and oiled the handle and snugged the pivot with hammer.
