Looks like blue/black g10 not dyed.

Thanks for all the kind comments about my daughter she's going to be a fine officer and nurse next year when she graduates. Following her moms footsteps 27yrs still active duty 3 to go. Much better than a smart aleck enlisted like I was.

it's a knifeworks exclusive...

edit: hmmm doesn't look like the scales of their 810 or 710... not so sure now.

The scales done in that style all look different because of the way the G10 is layered. They're all a combination of the Blue/Black, but how they show up and where the layers show through is different in each individual knife. That was especially true on the 810 exclusive.

I saw some that were almost entirely blue, and some that were mostly black, and everything in between, but I'm not sure if they ever did a run with that model.

Man this made my day so far! I got some weird looks in the office when I came up and saw this!

Haha you're welcome!

You should be extremely proud, Dave. Much respect to you and the women in your life!

I reprofiled to 15 degrees per side to 1000 grit EP stone. At 15 I hit both thumbstuds just barely.
