EDC IV Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Well, Thanksgiving I carried my Stag Jack (didn't need it much for the traditional family wood splitting, but it came in handy on the turkey!):

Then yesterday I carried my #65 Ben Hogan for the traditional family game of King Oil, thought maybe the knife's namesake would bring me luck (but it didn't, was the first player out):

And today I'm carrying my brand new Huntsman II (and have my Farmer to compare):

Also been carrying my new Horseman. I bought one new a year and a half ish ago, maybe more, and honestly was not at all impressed with it for the price. I got this used one for $65 and like it so far. Jury is still out on it though, I think I would prefer a normal 4" CQC-8 but don't want to pay the price:

Weekend leaving the house EDC

Now that I'm home it's just a black kershaw leek clipped to my pocket for around the house tasks

Ratmandu. Haven't had a chance to field test it yet, but it's very comfortable. The sheath hasn't arrived, so I've just been walking around the house with it in my hand, looking a bit crazy.

I know the feeling. I got a machete made for me by a friend a few years ago and he messed up on the sheath at first so he sent me the machete without it first, and I was walking around the house with it, wandering my yard trying to find things to cut...yeah, my family has had to have the "you look like a maniac" talk with more than once.

Haha - I'm glad you can relate; I feel better about my sickness. I'd feel a whole lot better with pics of your EDC machete, though. Where is it?

Doing some laundry outside and storm starts rolling in. Just my luck.

Pretty sure my Stag Jack can handle anything Mother Nature throws my way ;)

I like that patina. Looks darker in that light :D

Going to be a recycled picture for me today. I was reminded by my wife that my companies children's Christmas party was no place to be taking knife pictures :(

Took this on Thanksgiving but I've been carrying it daily:

Strider again. Having a tough time between carrying it or my customized CQC-7AW... Gonna be an even harder decision when I order a Sebenza in a month or so...

It was a gift to one of my cousins last year. He might be in for the holidays this year, though, and I'll throw up some pictures of his and my EDCs when I can. I loved that machete a lot, but its a lot less useful in an apartment than our old house, and it was a great house-warming gift to my cousin :o

More on-topic, I'm still down in texas with only my Shirogorov Mod95T to keep me company. I'm missing my other knives, but I'll have a new addition in the mail box when I get back on Monday!

Action shot from the Deer Stand. With my son and a great blade just waiting for the harvest so I can use this sharp beauty. Not a great pic, but a great environment.

I am REALLY liking the PPT. Carried it yesterday and again today.

You are seriously getting me interested in that blade, Erik. I love how it looks.

Thanks for the compliment, man! The patina is coming in nicely.

And I would have to agree with your wife haha!

Great job Harris!

It looks so cool! I really like Spydercos, yet have never owned one! Thanks for the kind words. Sadly, I'll never carry that Sebenza again! It picked up attention for trade very quickly and I am trading it off for a micarta Small Sebenza 21. I figure I came out pretty good, keeping in mind that I'll be getting another Large next year. Have really been interested in trying the micarta inlayed handle out, should be cool!

Looking good John, that's a beautiful knife! I really need to expand my traditional collection. Hard to justify without getting rid of stuff though since I tend to carry the same stuff usually.
