Man, what a great day! The mail man just left, and I finally got my hands on some steel that I've been trying to score for a long time!!

Even better, it seems to fit the theme of this particular page! :D

Hey Forrest, congrats on getting a hold of that 2011 BF Traditional Knife! They aren't too easy to come buy these days.

Mini NorthStar:

Stunning knife Derek, looks like it would make a great bird & trout type knife.

Thank you, brother. I am SUPER happy to have scored it. It's brand new, and a real nailbreaker right now, that's for sure. Hope it wears in!

I bought this last weekend at a street flea market.
A small multi knife, made in U.S.A. by 'Palco' of which I know knothing about.
Stainless steel type unknown.
Was surprisingly sharp, but I sharpened it to a paper cutting edge.
Cute little thing.
Plastic scales.

My Endura helped me create some Juicy Lucy burgers:

Filled 85/15 ground chuck with cheese
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced onions and threw them in with the burgers while they were frying
Toasted whole wheat buns in the oven with butter and garlic powder
Spread a blend of mayo and German honey mustard on the bottom bun (helps prevent the bottom bun from getting soggy)
Enjoyed with a Guinness brand Arthur's Generous Ale (not bad, not great)

Not a bad 1st attempt, but I need to use better beef next time. This was the bargain bin tube o' beef at my local grocer. A blend of steak, chuck, .... something else (?) would be better next time.

BK14 and Warthog Tanto blade are my typical EDC, Walther PPQ, G-Shock Gulfmaster, Nitecore EC20

I know the title says knife but it was all laid out so..

Thanks grownstar and MattyLav! Be sure to post some blade/food porn when you get a chance. I'm always looking for ideas.

Nice blades, too.

And that pic from Sunyata, with the tacos and the M4 blades - delicious.

Paul, Put me in for the 2011 Forums knife... Love that fat blade! Really want a Easy Open solo blade!
Oh, and put me in for that Scout as well.
;)
Your stuff looks so polished today. The bolsters look especially nice. Did you do something special to them?

Wow Alex, looks fantastic:thumbup: I can't recall the dinner (Matt's Bar?) that's known for the Juicy Lucy but if my memory serves it's located on south Snelling Avenue?

I am really digging this 531. I cut lots of boxes and packaging, and it just does the trick. The blade width is roughly as wide as the Delica, but it's longer. The 154CM is sweet, and the thing clocks in at 2.1 oz. The Axis lock action is like the 940, and unlike the Griptilian. Holding the knife flat/horizontal, a good tug on the Axis studs will open the knife completely. Again, I dig it. It's so light it feels 'wimpier' than I know it is. Ha.
