Sweet blade! I want a super so bad. Talk me out of it please! ;0)

Nope, I highly recommend grabbing one if you find one (waveless 8). FANTASTIC knife. This is my second, #2020, and I love it. A KEEPER.

This was my first one, #2000 and I really, really should have kept it, especially after a trip to Mr. Ray.

Met with my mentor this morning. He told me that he was still carrying the SAK I gave him a year ago and loved it. I replied that I liked his so much that I bought myself one.

I would like more info on both of these. That hawksbill is wild!!

Thanks. The little stag teardrop is a Hiroaki Ohta custom. The little Chinese Parrot ti framelock hawkbill flipper is said to be a Dmitry Sinkevich/SiDis design. I don't know for sure but it certainly seems like it. It's ridiculously overbuilt for its size. The blade thickness is similar to that found on an overbuilt 5" to 6-closed flipper! That said, the ergos and build quality are excellent and it's surprisingly useful.
