We have had plenty of edc dump threads with watches , knives and flashlights but not many pens

I have found that most knife people also like pens

I use a pen a lot in my daily routine and carry a few every day

One on my person and another or two in my case or bag

Regretfully I need reading glasses so my dear friend the great Paul Long made me a glass case slash pen holder that I have grown quite fond of

Here is my latest pen that I’m liking very much a Visconti Homo Sapiens Dark Ages with a Medium NIB

I think it goes well it’s my Gudy Gitano

So please if you carry a pen post it

I have quite a few pens and rotate them often. These are some of the ones that have been coming with me everyday. I carry 4 pens in my journal and 2-3 on my person.

As you might expect, I have an odd choice for daily carry at work, and one that is not all that pricey.

A Civivi bolt action pen. Because I like pens with click action but I tend to fold my arms across my chest during a discussion. If I have a regular clicker on the end, I tend to accidentally activate it. I have stained a good many shirts that way. So the bolt action gives me a clicker that I won't accidentally activate. An added benefit is that it's hard anodized 6061, which pleases the M&P engineer in me. It's about as bomb proof as aerospace aluminum gets from a corrosion perspective.

A Spyderco Manbug. Because the Fortune 100 company for which I work has a rule that a pocket knife carried on the site must have a blade no more than 2 inches long and a maximum opened length of 4 1/2 inches. The Manbug exactly meets those parameters. And it capably performs every task necessary during a hard day on the farm. Cube farm, that is.

Looks very substantial

Thanks, I’m missing the Felt Tip and the Pencil, but I probably wouldn’t use either one.

I won one of those Civivis in titanium, it has a ridiculously satisfying action:thumbsup::D

I'm a ball point pen guy and I generally don't care for roller balls or any type of soft tipped pen. I need the ball for signing legal documents (and not smear) to make sure that there is some sort of indent on the paper with my signature. I don't get fancy but I like stuff that works and Parker's work for me. Trying out a new ball point that I picked up at Office Depot and so far it has worked well. I don't know the brand but it wasn't expensive.

I have a very traditional black lacquer waterman with a medium nib. I love a good pen but, I find that I reach for a cheapo with a built in stylus.

I would like to do a tactical pen but I have not found any I like.

I've got a Hinderer Extreme Ti and a Benchmade Damascus if you ever want to check them out:thumbsup::)
Sure. I would like that.

Maybe next time we get together for burgers. Or chinese food. That sounds good too.

No, I think burgers should be it.
Where do you recommend this time?

Other hobbies and wants have always kept me from delving deeper into pens, but I do always carry one. Often it is simply a Fisher Military Space Pen (clicky); simple, reliable, unobtrusive in the pocket, and no big deal if it gets misplaced. I also have a flamed titanium pen by Darrel Ralph that I carry. I have one by Lionsteel in Ti/Damascus, but it typically just sits at my desk and never gets carried. I have a couple of Karas Kustoms pens as well, including one anodized in orange that makes for the perfect counterpart to my orange Omega Planet Ocean, though I have yet to photograph that one with any knives (something I hope to remedy when the Lionsteel Thrill hits the shores stateside).
