SoCal. I've had the 0300 a few days is all. However I use the crap out of knives. The blade shape I was a little sceptical about (didn't look pointy enough). Hopwever I have not had it make any task more difficult in fact quite the opposite. On a thrust with this blade you are literaly pushing a razor sharp edge into the work. The wide blade gives it excellent edge geometry so it slices fantastic. Tough as nails as well. I couldn't be happier with it.

I have a few favorite EDCs. Of production knives I like the Sage 2 because of the awesome f&f,great design,,solid build quality, great materials and opening hole.

I mainly carry Chris Reeve Knives and custom just because nothing compares IMO to a CRK or good custom.

My RAT/ESEE Izula has replaced all my folders. IMO, it truly is a little big knife. Stong enough for big jobs yet small enough not to scare the sheeple when I have use it in public.

beautiful hk..

thats another thing the knife has to disappear in my pocket.. i dont want to feel it every time my leg moves.. but i tried the zt300 in a store and it felt fine surprisingly small in pocket.. but the weight was there..

Then a Sebenza would be pefect for you. It is my main edc.

I usually carry a Kershaw Corral Creek, as I dress business casual and it's nice and small in the pocket, yet has some strength and I think is quite nice looking.

Favorite EDC's right now are Delica 4 FFG with Blue FRN handles or a Victorinox pioneer/soldier. Would love to carry larger, but that probably would get me into trouble.

My favorite edc is a pocket carry Izula in one of hoopster's jimped foldover sheaths. Comes out faster than a folder and "cuts big" as someone posted.

In my folder rotation are the BM 940 Osborne, a BM710 and a Spyderco Endura 4 G-10. :)

Was that a full size Rukus in your pictures jill jackson or a mini?

Favourite EDC knife has been the FRN Spyderco Stretch: comfortable, great blade steel (ZDP), thin, flat ground blade which cuts like all hell, my fave handle material and comes in a nice colour.

Current EDC after that was stolen is a Gayle Bradley; while very, very good in its own right, the design feels less refined than the Stretch.
I'll post a full review after my exams :) in the meantime, I'm just going to enjoy Jill's (and others) pics :)
(I still remember when I passed up the chance to own a green Manix. Regret it less, but the pain is still there)

Another top contender is the Victorinox Outrider, simply because it's a SAK. The blade is even thinner than the Stretch, and it's got loads of tools.

(By the way, OP, I noticed in your other thread that you mentioned not liking thin blades; I'm just the opposite. Thin blades are the best for my purposes. )

Nice pics, everyone. I particularly like the Civilian and the custom-scaled BM/HK. I'd post a few if I had time.

This one has seen a lot of pocket time lately. Ease of carry is important to me, and this one with its rounded bolsters rides in the pocket perfectly. The more I use D2, the more I love it, and this knife is just about perfect.

On the days that I want a modern one handed opener, I grab this one. I've never found a pocket clip better than on the Spyderco Paramilitary.

My Izulas have also been getting a lot of pocket carry lately too. I'm packing one of them today in fact.

I vary a bit, and even so evolved towards these 10 faves that I will never sell:

- Spyderco Stretch 2, any version feels deliciously right. For me it could be 'The One".
- Spyderco Caly3: strong compact utility
- Klotzli Sailor with G10 handles: best midsize gentlemen knife I ever handled. Light and strong enough.
- Klotzli Walker 05. Fantastic, posh full size gentlemen knife. Incredible design.
- Victorinox alox Soldier: perfect, really.
- Böker Turbine 2: light, ergonomic EDC. Midrange steel (but 100% stainless). Feels pleasant, just right.
- Böker Plus Exskelibur 2: affordable yet so very smooth and elegant.
- Lion Steel Opera: Italian flair in a compact backlock
- German Eye (Carl Schlieper) Copperhead: my fave classic pattern knife, very charming
- Perceval Le Français: elegant French-style EDC.
If there were no local laws and public perception issues, my Military and my Pohl Force Alpha One Outdoor would join the above. Now they are for "special assignments", not for general EDC.

A picture tells a better story:

I don't think that the OP will fancy any of my faves, but that's ok, it's all a matter of taste.

favorite edc knife and y?
That's a tough one for sure....

I like this one because it is light-weight, but nice and strong.
It's a handy size knife too....

I like this one because nothing fits my hand better than a Buck 110.
And it's beautiful too....

However, carrying my Custom Shoppe Buck 110 just makes me feel good all over....

But sometimes I just feel like carrying something old timey....

Then again, sometimes I need more than just a few sharp blades....
