Woohooo!!!! I will be ready even though my bank account is hurting from all of the Busse purchases the last 2months! Guess I am gonna have to cancel my fishing plans to wait for the GoGoGoGo!
 
Are you kidding? those are fugly colored as hell. I would love to have one of these size/blade styles with a decent color combo. Same with the recent game warden offerings.
I agree with the quality of the steel, the performance, the customer service, and I even occasionally buy into the little bullshit games played here but "these" blades are nothing special in the looks department. Agreed, the Busse name on a knife means a great deal but give me a satin or bead blast blade with snake, tiger, black/blue skins on it. These are the ones people are looking for! Come on guys!!! You can't be serious just cause they are a new ganza.....Take a look at what have been the big sellers in recent history. I bet it is not fugly color combos. Give us something to fit into our collections of whatever color combo's you like. I thought that the company store would offer the more popular color combo's of the FBM when they came back out. So far they have offered something that in my humble opinion would not normally stack up if offered with the rest of the color combos. Who likes do do brown? Someone remarked lately in a post that the recent offerings lasted longer than normal......ddddduuuuhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Am I that far removed from the mainstream or are the Busse addicts just so far gone that they slobber over anything put out? I for one believe they listen to their customer base and will hear you if you voice your opinion on at least the basics of color combo's.

P.S. I am one of those Busse addicts I refer to. I am just not buying into these fugly color combos even tho I like the blades.
 
i happen to like the muddys and tans. have a muddy sfno on the way, muddy fbm, muddy mojo, daba,

and i like these as well.
 
Well, I guess if thats the case with a great deal of the people, it answers one of my questions about being that far out of the mainstream.

im not sure i understand this statement. if a lot of people like them then they are not far out of the mainstream, correct?

and there will be more fbm's available. in different color combos, thicknesses, etc.
 
Correct. If a lot of people really like these current color combo's that they are offering, then I am out of the mainstream of thought. That would not surprise me at all. If you like em, buy em. I will stay away and leave more for the taking. Cause I think they are FUGLY combos and would not have sold well if they had been in the original offering. I could be wrong!
 
Plenty of folks like the muddy and olive versions. These color combos do nothing for me, but I don't feel the need to disparage those to whom they appeal. You know what they say: It takes all kinds.

just one of the great thing about busse combat. how many other companies offer knives in so many color combinations and variations?

not just blk/blk or blk/satin, but damn near any color you can think of. there is something for everyone. they wont all be liked by everyone, but there is something there for every taste.

if you like gw's, especially, then there are so many variations they are hard to count when you include the ganza offerings. must be around 30 or more by now.
 
Agreed. They offer a lot of different options. I have several. Some that are not other peoples favorites either. I bet there are plenty more to come.

I'm sure that lots of folks like the green and muddy versions but I would be willing to bet they would sell more if they offered a different and more popular color combo. I dont think the muddy and green versions would be top sellers during the main offering. Like I said, I could be wrong. Have been before, will be again. No disrespect intended. Just my humble opinion.

Traditionally he posts the prices on the day of the event.

So far, he hasn't even said the day other than "maybe Sunday". Could be Sunday in 2 weeks.

Keep an eye out, here, often! :cool:
 
I'm still wondering what the thickness is on the MS. Is it a fattie or not (the grind looks like it's not)!
 
These are military over run knives.

The military seems to want a low gloss finish that blends in with their surroundings.

They don't order satin or double cut knives so there are no over runs of satin or double cut knives with fancy micarta or G10.

Personally I like the muddies. I think the OD would look a lot nicer with a plain black G10 handle but that's not what the military ordered.

Lastly Jerry said the prices are going to be good. It's hard to find either of these in the secondary market in any color combination. If you don't like them I'm sure Jerry will find other customers to buy them.
 
the new sage color is one of the best i have ever seen and the finish is super easy to keep clean.
