EDC military service knife. Adamas vs 300

And you should love the Adamas my friend! Benchmade really hit it out of the park with this knife.

I hope that's true! Otherwise I'll end up buying the ZT to fill that tough folder hole in my collection :) It certainly looks solid, I can't wait 'till my pay cheque :D

Between the 0300 and Adamas, I would take the Adamas without a doubt. Most of it is personal preference. I much prefer the Axis lock, smooth manual opening and closing action, and the ergos. I also prefer the blade shape of the Adamas.
The 0300 is a great knife, but it has very sluggish assisted opening, the tall recurved blade, and I'm generally not a fan of ti frame locks. If I were set on a ZT, I would get a 0200. Equal quality to the 0300, manual opening, and around the same price as an Adamas. However, you still get that insane recurve. Fortunately, since Ken Onions departure, most new ZT designs have done away with recurved blades.

Good thread. I have the ZT301ST & love it. Have the Adamas Auto on order should be here tomorrow. I was wondering which one people liked better. Cant wait to get my Adamas it will actually be my 1st Benchmade knife so im curious to see what type of quality they put into a knife? From what ive read i think ill be happy with it. One thing i really like with the ZT301 is the clip can be placed in all 4 corners depending on what you like! Looks like from pics. The Adamas only has 2 areas for the clip. Regardless im sure both great knives!
