EDC NitroV and Bocote

Greetings everyone, Here’s a handy little EDC/Skinner just finished up. Hope you like it!

NitroV with Paul Bos HT to 60,61- Dimensions – 1/8”x9 1/4”” OAL and 1 1/2” tall, the blade is 1 1/4” tall – 4 5/16” from tip to guard, cutting edge 3 7/8”. It’s hand sanded to 1200 grit for a clean satin finish. It was .01” before sharpening and balances just behind the guard.

The guard is blued 5160 with a yellow, lightly fluted G10 spacer and features "owl's ears" for comfortable access to the spine. The handle is Bocote, finished to 1200 grit with a 3/32” stainless pin. Finished with multiple coats of Danish oil then buffed with carnauba wax.

Really cool - that guard is particularly neat - you should use that on other knives!

Thanks for all your kind compliments and likes everybody, I really appreciate it!! Yes the thumb feels real smooth going over the guard to the spine and can you apply pressure when pushing behind the guard as well.
