The EDC knives i make are lightweight and medium profile, designed to be servicable using knives (I use one from steak to shopping veggies to cutting cord and sharpening pencils) and still be serviceable as backup self-defense tools. (These days they may be all you got, too). I work with seirra to house them in durable and workmanlike, but clean and 'casual dressy' sheaths.

15N20 steel, .095 thick. The blade length is 4.75 inches and OAL is 9.25. Edge is convex ground. blade is approximately 1.35 inches broad at the high point of the thumbramp- call it a 1.25 inch broad blade and I won't argue. Scales ont he handle are thick, with the handle being about 1 inch wide.

The handle is tan canvas micarta with a linseed oil soak and brass pins and tubing. The linseed oil soak still leaves the feel of the micarta but penetrates in the fibers and helps me feel better about long term use with animal guts and fish parts. It also adds a really nice satin finish appearance to canvas micartas.

Blade finish is a random pattern sctochbrite hand finish over a 600 grit hand rub. Etch- not photod- is done with a beeswax coating on the blade. etch pattern is carved out by hand with a needle and then acid etchant is applied. Which is a very technical term for tabasco sauce (sticky acetic acid)

Sheath is 8 ounce leather, waterformed and double needle hand stitched by Koyote Girl. Solid seating deep pouch style, this is a fairly new pattern that I really like where a single strap is used to hold the base of the belt loop. Right now I just call it the EDC style- looks a bit more dressy than the expedition sheath.

SPF Asking $130, including shipping in the US via priority mail. Paypal, money order, checks are all good.

thanks!

one more time up. Price is very reasonable.

Note that the photo is Koyote Girl's hand - the handle is definitely more suited to larger hands.

I always like to look at your knives. There very different from what I do but I like them. I cant believe this one is still here.

economics? I dunno.

Make a good field/trail, hiker or hunter for someone. I have a couple of these with different agents in federal LE and they feel comfortable carrying them as lightweight utility and SD backups.

Believe it or not, I have been redoing my website and haven't got the available knives up again yet, and it's here in the box, waiting....
