Yeah I’m boring when it comes to handle scales. Prefer dark scales and nothing overly bright and flashy. I wanna see ebonite scales in person. Did they make those for the FK2?I’m really liking everyone’s pictures. Some I see pic same scales for all which is nice. I on the other hand get all different ones. I should probably do a set of something.
Quite a change in 4 days!! Reminds me of new buffed, crusty, but yours is more brown! It will be interesting to watch everyone's develop and change with use and time!Check out how much darker this un buffed VIP has gotten in 4 days. I have not added any mineral oil or anything to darken the Micarta. I have just carried it everyday. The EDC just disappears in my pocket until I need to cut something. Or until I get the urge to fondle it. View attachment 2738397View attachment 2738398

It’s really cool how this VIP has so much character. Each one is unique. It has quickly become one of my top 2 favorite Micarta’s. Up there with ECAM.Quite a change in 4 days!! You can quit any time you want. If you want.I got home from the range and found out I was graced by Santa and his brown sled. It's official, my first CPK. I was unsure about the double red scales. I love them. I already inquired about a second CPK. A nice UF2. Looking at three and four too. What have I gotten myself into?
Forgive the quick phone pics. I don't mess with lights and composition much anymore.
