I am so jealous of those with photography skills. I have an iPhone on portrait mode and a $50 or so light box with a couple lights from Amazon. Sometimes I get lucky, but I don’t even know how. Definitely a skill I wish I had time to invest in.
 
Is this how you guys are carrying the EDC 1.2 in front right pocket? Ulti clip on right edge Or do you put the Ulti clip on the left edge? Tried it both ways and can’t decide what’s best. Think this way.

Also do you move it to the top two holes so it fits deeper in pocket or leave it on the 2nd and 3rd holes.

I prefer my clips to be spine side, and I use it to push my thumb against when getting my knife out. I mount them so the knife rides low in pocket.
All that being said my knives are always in a thigh pocket. Cargo pocket on cargo pants/shorts. Thigh pocket on carhartt or others. I buy my pants/shorts based on the pocket arrangement.
 
I got my new EDC in the other day and finally got around to checking it out.

I like the changes in the blade design, I find it to be a bit more useful for everyday cutting. That said, I still struggle with its overall size - it's a bit Lilliputian. Smaller fixed blades only work for me if I am not being locked into specific grips. This one seems to want me to hold it a certain way for it to make sense and as such it ends up being too small for the grip to work comfortably. I'll keep playing with it though, this new one isn't so shiny so I can be less careful in applying it to work.

So, this is as good as place as any to post this. I have an EDC 1.2 in D3V. I purchased this after missing all the EDC 1 and EDC 2's I sold off over the years. I love the new blade profile. Do I "need" to score another in Magnacut in this Friday's sale? Convince me one way or another. Is there any reason to have one in Magnacut? I know the corrosion resistance would be nice in summer, but D3V has never rusted on me. Discuss.
