I have 3 CPK models now with those and I really like them. I started getting them just because they’re hard to lose in the woods. There isn’t any blue in my area and I guess blue is exceptionally rare in nature so makes sense.

Dad lost his DEK1 a while back, but seeing as I just got my new EDC1.2, I figured he could use my EDC1 until I can replace “the most comfortable knife I’ve ever used.” The sheath in his pocket has some bright blue para cord to go with some fresh G10 just in case the Ulti-clip lets go. When he unsheathed this one he said, “it feels a lot like that one I lost.”

He’s a 77 year old hillbilly, overalls are his go to 99% of the time. And just to add a layer, he lost the DEK bumping around on his tractor.
