Everyone has their daily rotation choices. I can't seem to put my Charlow, 73 or Tribal Spear down. The Imperial and Tribal Spear are the only ones without forced patinas.

I eagerly anticipate a number of imminent EDC additions: namely the GEC wharncliffe #48, the Northwoods Norfolk, and now the GEC equal-end pen #09.

Dan, you have very good taste in knives. I dont only say this because we own the same knives, but because they are quality. Same with you Sonnemann! The Charlows are probably one of the nicest looking functional knives out there, and the scouts and farmers are excellent heavy duty / hunting knives.

My edc pool has been very stable for some time now. One, or two of these are on me everyday.

Yes. According to the little pamphlet that Mr. Usai sent with it, the blade is 12C27 from Sandvik. So far I have zero complaint, and the knife holds a good edge and cuts well.

i just see you as a carbon guy, but hey i definitely like me some stainless during the mississippi summer. Although i have never tried 12c27 sandvik yet, i keep hearing good things about it

I admit I love the old carbon blades of my youth, not to mention times long past. But I'm also a very pragmatic person. I lok at the whole knife package, how it flows, how it feels in the hand. Looking back on my whole life, I've carried and used way more stainless steel knives than carbon. My old boy scout knife was a carbon steel Camillus, but it got left home when I joined the army. In the army I carried a stainless Camillus 'demo' knife for years, until one day I saw a Buck display at the PX, and bought a stockman.

Then on my first tour over to Germany, I saw a big moving display stand with SAK's. I bought one, and used the heck out of it. A quarter century later I inherited my friend Andy's old Buck 303 cadet. Used that for some years, until I got on my peanut kick in a downsizing. I've got a long history with stainless steel. I have to admit that out on the salty water, or the humid Maryland summers, I like the stuff. Like the old commercial said, "you've come a long way, baby!":D

Karen even brought me around to women's lib!

Carl.

What is the knife fourth from the top I keep seeing it all over the forum and I don't know what it's called really awesome looking knife.

In Dan's pic with TC on it? That's Charlie's (Waynorth's) GEC #15 Barlow SFO, aka as the Charlow.

They are nice! If you find one pick it up. I could get by fine with just that, my peanut and my Gossman Kephart, toss in my small GB axe and my Wards .22 bolt action. Full kit for life!

UGH - resolzas keep haunting me. Whenever I think I'm over it, one of you guys casually post a photo of one and the fever is back.

Whats the Northwoods one the right Brett? Is that made by Queen or GEC?

The coffin jack is such a nice little knife, I carry that on special occassions.

Nice bunch. I also carry a Charlow, heritage jack, and #73 on a regular basis.
