EDC Priorities?

I guess I should rephrase my last post.

Urban Survival.

I carry almost exclusively for cutting cardboard, opening packages, killing zip ties and clamshell packages, etc. Urban chubster laptop jockey kind of stuff.

A knife can also serve as backup self-preservation and get-off-me device, but the Ruger SP-101 in my pocket is primary.

1) food prep
2) bottle opening
3) zip ties
4) Trimming papers
5) card board
6) small wood
7) scraping with the spine

Typically I'm a hollow grind guy because of those requirements, but thinner FFGs work well too. My current favorite zpd dragonfly works great at everything but bottle opening and zip ties where the thinner blade stock and swedge make it tricky. The Small Seb is pretty much perfect but for scraping paint with the spine since its rounded.
