just finished this knife, made out of old saw steel with oak handles. it still needs its final sharpening and linseed soak, but it is pretty much done:

after making it, i realized that it kindof looks like a cross between a BRKT little creek and JKs baby kephart.

the sheath is a bit different, as it also houses an altoids tin :

the sheath was a little complicated for me, a pretty much novice leather worker, but i recently got one of those fork-like hole punchers, which is helping alot.

ill give more of a report once i get it outside, but for now, you've got some pics at least. once i get some more belts, i am going to shine up the blade and even out the grind a little.

so, what do you all think?

That is sweet, I really like the design it looks great. Nice job with the leather too, that is a really good idea.:thumbup:

Good work.
Sweet looking setup.
If you can get some outdoor picts, I would like to see them.

Great little knife.

You commented that the sheath was a little difficult for you ( even though I like it the way it is, I like the rustic look of it) if you get some barge glue from the hobby shop. Glue the sheath before you sew, then take some fine sand paper ( or even some old blue jeans) and rub the edges ( one direction only) you'll get a more finished look to the sheath. Lastly, a cheap bottle of edge dressing from walmart and it'll look like a store bought sheath. If you want a sheath that looks store bought.

Personally, I think it's a very cool little set up and I would be more likely to buy the whole get up with the sheath the way it is.

What an awesome little knife. It sort of looks like a Little Creek, but it definitely has a style of it's own. VERY nice work!
