EDC Redundancy !! How many knives can you carry?

Currently Carrying my case stockman and trapper, and alternating between my Tenacious and full size griptilian so 3 knives

OK, below you will find a picture of everything that was on me with the exception of my wallet which remains in my truck unless I'm going in a store and need to purchase something...
Here's one of my typical daily "loads"

I never carry more than one knife at a time on my person. Now, I do stash other knives around me. I have a multi-tool and rescue knife in my car's glove box, a fixed blade in my daypack, a fixed blade and a multi-tool in my BOB, a couple knives in my desk at home, etc. but I hate carrying too much in my pockets, so I keep the load there as light as possible and restrict myself to one medium or small folder for EDC. This has never proven to be much of a hardship. ;)

I carry one folder with me, or if I'm in class, a SAK Cadet.. I find no need to carry more than one knife..

I carry more then 1 knife at all times because im frequently around people who dont carry knives hence when they ask for one I always have a spare if we are out fishing or working ect.

I usually don't carry much knives. Currently there's a Victorinox Cadet in the coin pocket of my jeans, a Leatherman Kick in my work bag and a Victorinox Midnight Manager on the keyring. That's mostly more than enough for me. The Cadet does most of the work, the Kick comes in handy when I need pliers and screw drivers. The Midnight Manager is mainly a backup tool and adds some extra tools like scissors and a pen.

I only carry one at a time and it most often a small folder. I see no need for carrying multiple knives in my day to day activities.

hi.
urban places two:
SAK classic in my keyring+2,5" friction folder in my pocket
outdoors places...I miss the count ;-)

I carry one CRKT Desert Cruiser. Keys for truck and work. Mini Maglight (for work). Wallet. I figure, anything else I need I can make from gum wrappers, toothpicks, paperclips, chewing gum or whatever other trash I find layin on the ground. If I need a gun or a bomb I might have to go to the hardware store. :D

I guess that I'm the oddball here because I only carry one knife on me.

I have never needed to have more than one knife on my person.

I have my main knife in my frh pocket which is a sebenza. I also have been trying out a alox SAK in the same pocket. It is small and I dont notice it much. I like to use it when im i a very busy area, and I also like that it has a can opener on it. I also have a small SAK on my keys but I keep that in my bag for the most part.

I really don't care for carrying many knives as it just gets annoying and you start looking very fishy in the eyes of the law. I think you may have a hard time convincing anyone you weren't a nut job and that you need 3 fixed blades and 6 folders. I understand loving knives, but you have to know when enough is enough.

I carry two with me evryday. One is a large (3.5" to 4.0" blade) single blades, locking, pocket clipped folder. I rarely have to use this knife but I can easily carry it, and I like to carry it because I appreciate the design and build of a well made knife. The second knife is a medium sized slipjoint knife that is really all I need for my normal daily uses.

People who genuinely love knives will sometimes carry without rhyme or reason when compared to the "normal" person. Of course, is there really anyone normal?!

Usually I carry two. Lately it's been a Graham Stubby Razel in the front right pocket and a Leathreman Juice XE6 in the back right pocket. Both are people friendly and don't look like weapons (the Razel has a 2 inch blade and bright orange handle), so I don't have to worry about scaring anyone. Granted, I could get by with just the multitool, but knives are cool so I carry two.

Oh, there's also a Vic classic on my keychain.

Not to derail the thread, but what's the total WEIGHT of all the knives you guys carry, especially you guys who carry multiple fixed blades?

I'll usually have a folder or small fixed blade in my pocket, and a victorinox classic on my keyring. Thats always been sufficient, if I'm heading for the woods I'll toss a bigger knife or maybe a saw in my pack, but its not often that I'll need them

I'm guessing some people haven't heard about geo tags in pictures? I hope those who let the world know they leave their money behind turn off geo tags. Otherwise they just gave the world directions to their money. :)

Normally have have one folder, and one SAK (Explorer Plus).

I'm not seeking redundancy, as I almost never use the blades in my SAK. I'm seeking the most utility in the smallest space and with the least weight.

I have tried replacing the SAK with a key ring of gadgets, or a full sized multitool on my belt, but I always migrate back to the SAK.

I usually carry about 3. 1 SAK, 1 high end folder, and 1 beater folder. I carry the SAK as my substitute for a multitool, the beater folder for people who need to borrow my knife (and usually use it to pry things without me knowing) + stupid tasks that I do that my SAK can't handle, and my high end folder simply because I like knives :).

I do rotate these and maybe even sometimes have a 4th when I receive a new knife in the mail just to try things out.
