I leave this knife for sale, as simple as it is useful.
It is made of 1070 steel, its hardness is 58 hrc.
the wood used is pau ferro, the pins are made of bronze, central mosaic pin.
handmade leather sheath.
the measurements are:
blade length: 5.5 "
Overall length: 11 "
thickness: 0.11 "

Thanks, me too. The steel should be tough for a camp knife yet still easy to sharpen. I have another similar one from a different maker that I want to use with this one, 1075 steel. Should be very similar performance. Does anyone know if 1070 vs 1075 differs that much? Just curious. I am excited about this new one.

They are very similar, the last two numbers, indicate the amount of carbon they have each, in this case 1070, has 0.7% carbon, 1075 0. 75 %
As for the 5160, it's a great steel!
