I also carry my P3AT everyday and also an polymer surefire along with my keys, a bic lighter, smokes, nylon bikini wallet and cell phone.

Ed, you've been an inspiration. I want a bedlam for sure. How far from Southern California are you usually? I'm moving down to Ventura County in mid July.

Well its part of my gun cleaning kit, it’s in a little bag on my vest. I mostly hang out in San Diego on my days off, but do go all the way to San Francisco every now and then when I’m on vacation.
Get down here, I’ll take you out for a lobster lunch in Puerto Nuevo.

P.S. The plaza cutlery store is going to be near Ventura county. The best place to shop for knives on this side of the country. You must stop by.

For the past 6 months it has been a rotation of five right pocket knives and three left pocket knives, of course only one in each pocket on a daily basis. The right pocket choices are; Kershaw G10 Tyrade, Kershaw JYD II, ZT0205, ZT0500, and my current carry, a Boker Titan Defender. My left pocket is a Case CV Barlow Razor, Spyderco Persistence, and my current carry, a Case Humpback Whittler w/Goldenrod bone. I have two more coming before the end of the year that will go into rotation, that being a Fallkniven PXL w/maroon micarta, and a large Sebenza 21 w/African Blackwood inserts.

Well things have changed and things have not changed. Still EDC the ZT0500, and the ZT0200. But now it is a combo of those two and; UE M1911 Standard, Kershaw Volt, JW Smith Extreme SD-3, Mike Irie Model 11, and a couple auto's, BM 9051 AFO, and ZT0650.:thumbup:

Well I changed things up again. I got a couple of knives in today on a trade and it was too much, I literally could not fit all the folders in the box I keep my knives in. So I decided to purge. I put up a bunch of my knives FSOT and I think I have it down to just 5 or so users that I will EDC.

How does it hold up to every day work? can you compare Coldsteel AUS8 with Kershaw 14c28 or 13c26?

I cannot compare it to Kershaw's choice in stainless, but I can say that it hols up well for the things I do with it. Stripping wires, cutting line, scraping garlock gaskets, sharpening soap stone. I even used the lawman to split a 2x4 a couple of times. So far no blade play. I carried the lawman everyday for about a month and even using it every day I did not need to sharpen it after wards. It could have used a good sharpening at the end of the month, but it didn't absolutely need one.
