Hi everyone,
I first offered this design back in February and almost swore I'd never make another due to the headaches (aka learning curve) I ran into getting the walnut and CF to marry up properly.
Well, as is usually the case, we often learn best from the lessons that are the most painful. I liked the look of the wood against the 2x2 twill so much I had to give it another go. Turns out I remembered a couple of tricks I learned the first go around and it wasn't nearly the challenge the first one proved to be. Funny how that works, eh?
The design specs of this custom Fair Wharningare as follows:
Thanks to the learning curve becoming a little less steep, I can ship & insure this knife and sheath to the CONUS, for $180.
First "I'll take it" gets priority, but must be followed up within 24 hours with PM or email to make arrangements for payment and shipping.
PayPal preferred, but check or Money Order accepted. My PayPal account is ltswain229(at)gmail(dot)com. Knife ships within 24 hours of available funds.
International customers - Please contact me for a shipping estimate prior to purchase.
Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed - Ultimately, your satisfaction is what matters to me most. If for ANY reason you're not happy with a knife I've created for you, just let me know and I'll either make it right for you, or you can return the knife for a full refund. It's that simple.
Thanks for looking and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to post them or contact me directly.
Take care and thanks for looking!

The design specs of this custom Fair Wharningare as follows:
- Full tang, .156" (5/32") thick, modified wharncliffe style blade in CPM154 wearing a combo hand rubbed/stonewashed finish.
- Left hand chisel grind with a twist: I increased the angle of the flat side of the blade profile, so as to decrease the chisel grind's tendency to steer during a long cut in something like cloth or paper. Looking at the blade, tip on, it looks more like a V grind than a traditional chisel. Stropped to a zero angle, hair popping convex edge before leaving our shop.
- Heat treated and Cryo tempered to 60-62 HRC.
- Combination 2x2 twill Carbon Fiber & Black Walnut scales. Walnut has been sealed with 4 coats of Cyanoacrylate and buffed with 3 coats of wax for protection.
- Mounted with Acraglas epoxy and .5" T6 aluminum tubing for a unique look and significant weight savings. Rear tube can be used as a lanyard hole, if so desired.
- Weighs in at just a hair over 5 ounces, including the sheath (knife itself is just 3.8 ounces!).
- OAL of 7.25" with a 3.5" cutting edge.
- Hand filed thumb jimping for a Filipino style grip and finger groove for a secure hold.
- Shipped with a custom molded Kydex sheath that is set up to fit the Large Tek-Lok system. Tek-Lok NOT INCLUDED with sheath, but can be provided for an additional $15. I can also provide a belt loop for horizontal or vertical belt carry free of charge if you'll provide me with the width and thickness of the belt you'll be using.
