Another knife that I made from the crucible Wootz steel that I make myself. It was hand forged from a very small ingot, but the pattern on the steel came out well. This is hyper-high-carbon steel and the pattern reflects the steel strusture. It is not forge welded pattern.

The blade is 3-1/2" long, 1-1/8" wide and 1/8" thick at the bolster. Very thin ground. Estimated hardness 58HRC, but it does not reflect the real cutting ability for this kind of the steel.
The guard is brass.
The handle is made of Wild Apple wood with some fiddleback. Stabilized.
Simple pouch type sheath. 7Oz leather, hand stiched, wet fit, treated and polished. Right side belt loop for vertical carry.
I am asking $165 shipped CONUS. Pay Pal preferred.
SOLD
Thank you.

That price for crucible-created wootz is amazing! Some people might not realize the work that takes...a very sleek and fine looking knife!

Not only it looks elegant and well proportioned, I think it makes a great user knife as well.
I'll take it if still available.

There are only a handful of people in this country that can make steel this way. You have to be crazy to stay at it long enough to be this good. Dmitry my hat is off to you.

+1. I bought my 1st knife from Dmitry a few days ago & can't say enough good things about it. It definitely won't be my last from him.

I bought one from him last year and it has the most comfy handles of any knife I own. NO HOTSPOTS! I started carving a spoon yesterday, banged it through some wood, and it stropped right up nicely afterward.

Wow... Too much good and kind words for one crazy person....
Thank you. I will try to keep doing that as long as I can.

Plus, I heard from a Wootz maker that only about 50% of the billets turn out to be usable. Nice job!

I have not even 50%. Two of five ingots are good to forge. From first crudly forged billets 50% are garbage. From five semifinished billets 2-3 might go to the trash can. Just today I throw away one from the pair I was working on. So I was forging for a week and have just one good billet. it happend to be too small for two blades, so I have to make one bowie form it. And it might crack during quench. It might have poor pattern or the steel will be to brittle... it might go to the trash aswell.:(
So overall I have 5-10% of a good blades out of the ingots at most.
It is really hard job, but it is addictive like a drug....
