Hey there everybody! Here’s an elegant little black knife I finished up. Hope you like it!

Steel is 3-32” x 1 3/16” in NitroV with professional BOS HT at 60/61.Hand sanded to 1200 grit for a reflective finish. The edge was about .01” before sharpening , it balances in front of the middle pin.

Dimensions:7” OAL, Tip to Scales 3“

Black Diamond Richlite make up the handle, accented with blue G10 liners. Secured with brass pins and lanyard tube. The handle is finished to 1200 grit for a clean finish.

The slender handle feels great in my average sized hand. The blade is nice and snug in the sheath.

Jeepers John! You have a really zippy one here. I think the black richlite with the blue liners looks great. The brass pins pop like crazy and top it off with flair. With your top shelf sheath, this rig is a absolute steal. Knowing all the hand sanding and the level of detail you routinely lavish on your work I dang sure would be a player if I could. It would look so cool next to the purple richlite scaled wharncliffe I got from you a couple of years back. I still think you are in good with some elves who help in the night. Talented elves at that. Well done sir!

Hi Grady, no elves... unreliable things, always off dancing in the woodlands and singing... Dwarves though, nose to the grindstone types. My only complaint is they are moody fellas and standoffish, and the ale bill is a huge burden. Still better than elves though!

Aha! I got the wrong helpers, whatever mine are. Really big and they like to lick windows. Some my knives look to be finished in whatever they use on orcs' swords to make them look all scabby and funky. Do any sasquatches do stock reduction? I hear there are plenty up on the Grand Mesa not far from my shop.

Ohhh, sounds like you've got trolls, big, dumb and worst of all treacherous. Keep 'em away from your ponies! Squatches are OK, good hand eye coordination and plenty smart, but the smell is intolerable!

Cheers man!

Had to get organic vapor filters for my dust mask. Still mighty funky. Thanks for the info!

I agree, Smiticus, and at a very remarkable price. That's why I started teasing Mr. Cahoon about extraordinary helpers. A couple of years into this knife adventure I realize how much work John does on his knives and his skill at it. Add in the always perfect leatherwork and this was a great buy indeed.
