I like my zt 0200kw in my left pocket, and currently Im rotating my 3 ontario rat 1s in my right pocket. The rats do all the real knife work, and the zt is for the heck of it. I suppose I could poke some idiot with it if I had to, but it's mostly there coz it's the coolest folder I have. I have a KaBar folder (K2) in my work bag, and I also like to carry it when I run: in case a furry creature with teeth tries to attach itself to me, and then I can use the spearpoint combo edge to remove it from me ( would work well on a two legged creature also, but hopefully thatll never happen). Got the obligatory SAK classic on the keyring. And on occasion I like to wear my Izulas on my neck(-one at a time!)That's pretty much my edc systems. Not too glam, but at least it's not a smartass answer.

today: Manix 2 clipped in right front pocket and a 4Sevens Preon in the pocket itself. left pocket has bic lighter and pack of newports. right rear pocket has a bandana folded and a SAK attached to a small Houdini tool thingy. left rear pocket has wallet. keys have a Fisher Space Pen ( i think its a Trekker model? ) and hang from the 11'o'clock beltloop. and of course i always wrap a piece of paracord around a couple times before i put my belt on.

RF pocket = BM Mini Grip 55, keys
LF pocket = very small Miquelrius notebook with small penclipped to it and book of matches in cover
LR pocket = wallet
Belt at 4 O'clock = Victorinox Spirit in sheath

I take the stuff I carry every day, and then I put it in my pockets and carry it around all day. That's generally my system for EDC, and it works pretty well for me.

Ya know, i think i use a similar system, it works pretty well for me too.

Admittedly, I still can not respond to the original question. The "stuff" I carry is just that and it can not be glorified as a "system", nor are the same things carried EVERY day. Sorry, I am just a guy that carries a knife, a phone, and assorted other trinkets...

A sheath knife on my Belt at the 4 o-clock position, depending on the day 110/CSART/Alpha Hunter/LM Wave.
A medium size folder in my left front pocket, for smaller stuff and food prep, right now its my Vantage, but it also rotates between my Bantam or my 110.
Right front pocket is for test driving today's new knife, it varies from day to day.
Sometimes a SAK.
And the #1 rule to the system is that somewhere in this line up at least one of them must be a Buck at all times.

Normal EDC is my Gerber FAST in my right pocket, Leatherman WAVE on my left side belt or my Rat 3 in a horizontal carry.

Keys
Hand Sanitizer (you would not believe how dirty the inside of some computers are)
victorinox tech climber
carabiner keychain (for above three)
Double tipped Sharpie (med and fine)
8 bit Husky screwdriver
Droid cell phone
S&W tactical pen
CLC 5 pocket cell phone/tool holder (holds everything not on the D ring so far)
Oakley polarized flack jackets
Gum (kept me from smoking for about 5 years now but I got through ALOT of gum)
and finally a Paramilitary 2

Spyderco Military in right rear. This might be a Sebenza in right front sometimes.
Spyderco Assist in gear bag if I'm carrying my gear bag.

Blackberry in belt pouch, miscellaneous flashlights, impact tools, and a small magnifier for my tired old eyes.

When I’m of work this is what I carry:

Benchmade Bedlam on my left side front pocket. ( back up weapon)
And my small Slug Dashi by SAR knives. This is my main utility cuter. This one is becoming really hard to leave at home.
Small stream light key chain light.
Deadmans finger kubotan (this one is always with me)
My small SAS survival tin (this one is always with me) in my cargo pants pocket or jacket pocket.
Small moleskin note book.
Fisher space pen.
And my Glock in an inside the waist band holster on my right side.
Spare magazine.
