I know people tend to not like DPX gear and I'm not One that buys blades made in other countries, but I am one of the few that love my HES T triple black non-serrated. It's made out of Elmax, has a bottle opener for brews, and a very useful glass breaker on the bottom which I actually have tested. I put it through its paces beating the hell out of it and doing just about everything you can think of with it short of batoning. Have even used it to pry a few pieces of nailed wood. DPX claims that it's a folder that can do a fixed blades work, do I believe that, no, but it works for what I need it to do and more for sure! Would love to get a hold of a CRK and thought about buying a paramilitary 2 off the exchange the other day since you can't find them online anywhere but my HEST has so many useful features the other blades do not possess that I just can't justify the purchase as of right now. More of a fixed blade collector I suppose. But then again I'm sure the addiction will trickle down to folders in no time[emoji12]

Haha uhh what?? Maybe a year ago. I could find a paramilitary 2 on like 5 legit websites right now I bet, with EBay NOT being one of them. There's plenty out there. And it's really an amazing knife. Opening and closing it is addicting:

Thank you Scott, I appreciate the kind words! I always enjoy seeing that M390 PM2 with those beautiful Rosewood scales, and you can't go wrong with anything copper as far as I am concerned.

Thanks Erik. Liking the scales on the GB Air you are carrying today

I'm packing a TiLT, 77 Barlow, & Maratac today:

Today's carry. I'm traveling out of province right now and left my good stuff at home...I'm too paranoid to put my nicer knives in my checked baggage.

Strangely fun to have a real simple setup to use to the utmost. Looking forward to getting to the 0450 that arrived the day before my trip though.

...you...ugh...you will be the death of my wallet I think, even more than customs and everything else.

I don't really like production knives, but man the stuff you have done to them makes me want them again. Between this and you Gayle Bradley(s), I don't know what to do anymore! :D :p

The realy problem is how much easier it is to justify a production knife like that and then just modify the hell out of it, instead of trying to justify a custom knife that has all of the cost built-in up front...man, those look good too.

^^^ VERY nice group Erik!

For me, it's the following:

God, that T.A. Davison has me sooooooo jealous. I keep looking to try and get one of his knives, but every time I see one go up, either I am just short on the cash, or it's already sold.
That 2-blade pattern and those amazing LSCF pieces are absolutely evil man :D

Hahaha, I'm sorry. :o I fully agree though. I'd rather take a production knife and modify it to my particular tastes than pick up a custom. I feel like I'm more involved in the process of designing it, and it's well and truly "mine." At this point, I only have one stock GB, but that's a first-gen that's staying stock, and the PITS and ATR, which would be difficult to modify anyway. Every other knife I own is either customized or a custom fixie. :D
