Excellent character on that one! Old beat up Benchmades make me smile. :)
Part of my job is property management and I often do small repairs or re-modelings - bathrooms, kitchens, closets and so on.
I'm amazed every day how capable is this model, it's shocking what I do with it and how it handles work - no blade play what's or ever, no issues with the lock or anything.
This knife came as a side deal from a forum member, when I purchased my Manix II LX, actually it still have the original lanyard this guy had on it.
I take care of it just as I take care of my Glock :D - rince it with hot water, blow it with the compressor, and lube it, than I touch the chisel edge... Amazing knife... I have the same model, custom ordered with BM but I still didn't push it as I'm pushing this-one...
I'm usually too dirty to touch my phone when I work, but you can see it here cutting off silicone and grout, right after I did pry out one end of the tiles and underlying... Crazy stuff, I absolutely love it :D

Keeping it classy today... Got to do some interior work in a daycare today, and I thought something "tactical" may scare the children:D

The Children couldn't care less, it is the parents that Act like children that knife owners seem to be in the cross hairs of.

Nice set up, what material was used for those scales?

No matter what else I've got goin' on, I can't seem to keep the 'zaan out of my pocket. I think I might actually have a favorite EDC.

I should rephrase that. I don't want to scare the faculty:D

Thanks, that is marble carbon fiber on a knife made by Jim Dunlap.

This thread is pretty much dead because y'alls shots are killing it!!!

Seriously, such excellent examples of beautiful knives and great camera skills

No fresh pic till I free up some space in my stupid iphone, but I'm dipping into my bucket for a shot I already posted. Still in an RJ mood today...with good reason.
