An absolute classic! Got it in the mail yesterday. ATS-34 blade. Noticeably lighter because the milling on the liners is quite different. Would I prefer plain edge? Yes. I thought about sending it in for a blade swap but I love the look of the warn coating and the steel is great. I don't know when they switched to 154cm and then to D2 but it has to be over 10 years. Great quality knife that has stood the test of time.

Nice 710! That thing is super sexy. I love how the wear is showing on the blade bevels.

Sweet score! I used to laud my Spydercos' DLC because they resisted scratching so well. My tastes changed over time and now I love how Benchmade's coating wears. It doesn't schlep off like cheap Teflon crap but still wears to show a story of use over time. It's a perfect EDC canvas.

I carried one of these for about a year.
It handles a lot for sure.
I stopped caring it because it developed vertical lock "play" where the whole bar moved with the blade.
Didn't hurt anything, but it was annoying.
PS-disassembly and reassembly is not easy. ;)

Better pictures...

Just picked up my new sprint run PPT. So far I'm really impressed with what a good EDC it is.

Huh, don't see one of these every day! I remember holding one in a knife shop while I was on business travel. I almost bought it, but I wasn't wanting to check my bag on the ride home, and I was leaving the next morning. Pretty neat!
