Awesome picture and absolutely gorgeous knives!
P.S. you're not too far up the interstate from me.

Thanks kagato! I think there are a few of us mid-westerners here on the forums, we should do a knife nut meet-and-greet bbq sometime.

I've seen a few Missourians floating around the forums from time to time. Haha, a bbq sounds great. I'll bring the cooler filled with goodies.

You know, when I originaly joined this forum and would see people carrying 2+ knives I would say to myself why in the world do you need more than 1? Then I descovered multi tools, so it was pretty easy to justify 2 blades. I mean I barely even use the multi tool blade, so it doesn't really count as a knife. I would see people carrying 3+ knives and I'd say to my self "okay now that's just silly. I'll never be that guy."
Well here I am. I guess there is no need to even bother critiscizing you 4+ knives freaks:D because it will only be a matter of time until I'm right there with you. Thanks alot BF. I'm a full on knife nut now:grumpy:

Always have a large folder, a SAK, an old Case, and a BK14 on me. :)

Strider DGG SMF Tanto in PD1 and a brand new Benchmade SOCP dagger in cargo pocket.

Also Lenslight 2 cell in belt sheath and a Ruger LC9

Oh you're more of a patina guy, huh?

Well here's some patina for ya... I took this pic yesterday while playing on the back porch, had u in mind.

...that's a 1962 Gibson Les Paul SG Junior

I love patina:D
Man, that SG has some serious mojo!!!

I love the way a Nitro finish wears and cracks over time!

That Strider looks pretty well-loved too:)

At some point today I've been carrying one (or all) of these (Don't have my SLR so you get crappy iPhone pic):

From top to bottom:
  • Spyderco Ladybug (ZDP)
  • Spyderco Cat 2 (440c)
  • Spyderco Sage 3 (s30v)
  • Kershaw Knockout (Some Sandvik something or other)
  • Cold Steel Recon 1 (CTS-XHP)

I'm breaking down a bunch of boxes today and I'm trying to figure out which one (or three) to EDC.

Ah yes, nothing like an old nitro finish!! I'm more of a Fender guy as well... so maybe some more knife/guitar pics to come.

Yup, the Strider see's some good use, especially at work.

While I get joy from looking at and appreciating my things, I get a lot more joy from using them! ...As you can see in that pic.
