Forrest! Good to see you around buddy. Is that a GEC Whaler?
It's a Sunfish, as best as I can tell. The pictures I saw of the Whalers look a tad different, and they seem to be a lot wider. I want one of those also, truth be told. I love big hilariously oversized knives, and this is definitely in that category. I like your Recon 1, brother. I managed to snag a Code 4 (in the old AUS 8) from a seller here and I'm waiting for it to show up. Should be a neat weekend knife.

Also, this one has CPM-4V, which is similar to Uddeholm's Vanadis 4E. M4 is great too, but completely different.

That IS awesome. Yeah, I'm rapidly coming to an understanding of how lucky I was to score this knife, because there just don't seem to be any available out there. Whalers and Lumber Jacks (and Sunfishes for the most part) aren't available. Not even on the 'Bay.
