This blade is great! I'm really impressed with CPM-4V, I may have found my favorite steel!!!

Good looking Sydie, my friend! Is that an aftermarket sheath? I'd love to hear about it. Thx...

I've got my VG-10 saber-ground half-serrated Endura 4 with me again today:

Going inexpensive for a few days, just in case tsa or baggage handlers decide to "take liberties". Wood handled Barlow, and a Spydie Tenacious checking out the view over Waikiki.

Thanks Brother!

I made that sheath for it, it's the 3rd sheath I've ever made:D

Nice sheath!

I've made a good number of Kydex sheaths, but I've been wanting to try my hand at leather. Do you know of any good resources I could check out on making leather sheaths?

My 4th or 5th time carrying a fixed blade. Gotta say it's not for me. This one may be going back in the drawer for a while.

Here's a couple links:

Stitching: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qi3BRWO7kuo

Some things you will just learn as you go. Be patient, and know that you will make mistakes...I did. I even made a mistake on the belt loop on the sheath pictured above, that's why it has two rows of stitching on the loop lol.

For tools, I get by with only a hand drill (3/16 bit), an overstitch tool, and a utility knife.

Just make sure you're using vegetable tanned leather (aka tooling leather). My local "Hobby Lobby" had most of the tools I needed, along with the correct leather type.

Good luck Brother, email me if you have any questions!

^^ My Delica is the same color. Brown is underrated.

I'm really liking this wave-opener. I find it's like driving. I drive a stick, and when I hop in an auto, I always put my left foot down when starting the car. I keep trying to 'wave' my other knives now, lol.

Well got a few birdies. Better than nothing. I absolutely demolished the first one. Was comical. Breast still edible though somehow
