I've often wondered why that isn't been incorpaorated into knives more often. Ive thought about having a custom made with wood filler for the same effect. Looks great

I woke up feeling a little extra tactical this morning, so I went with my Super Secret Spec ops Sunday carry, not to be confused with my Wonderful Wannabe Weekend Warrior carry.

Thanks Brother, and that Tidioute looks absolutely stunning! I really dig the wood against the leather notebook:thumbup:

I think the reason why we don't see a lot of tritium is due to availability. Not only is it illegal to be sold in the US, but it is hard to consistently find a supplier that always has the same sized vials available.

I bought a bunch of 4x10mm vials a few months ago, along with some other sizes to experiment with fitting them to my knives. The 4x10's just so happen to fit perfectly in the lanyard hole of my CRK's and this Rockstead. Nowadays, 4x10 vials are extremely rare to come across, and if you find them they are usually $30-40 each!

From a U.S. production standpoint, it would be hard to find a supplier that can consistently make the same size and also not run into legal trouble when bringing the vials into the U.S. I do, however, wish we saw more tritium incorporated into knives as well. It also functions very well on fashlights, it makes it easy to find your light in the dark.
